    measure voltage on the battery terminals posts themselves and on the cable connectors on both ends of each cable. maybe that will point to a bad connection

    I would think you need to find out what the problem is. something it leaking. my guess is check valves on the oil system as far as running the fuel out of a multiple Cylinder motor with multiple carbs means that some cylinders will be running lean or without oil and fuel because the lower...

    my guess is the contacts inside the relay are burnt and not making good contact, but it could the brushes or other things in the T&T motor/pump binding up.

    since the relay is clicking it seems the controls work ,I was talking about jumping the main power wires to the T&T motor But you do need to disconnect those wires from the T&T relay since in the none energized state they go to ground. this is for My 1999 40, but I quess it would the close to yours

    I Not much help, but having a DVA and a manual would be the best way to troubleshoot. the manual will tell you what the specs are for all of the inputs and outputs of CDI

    I have no idea, since I never owned a 4 stroke Yam but I would think it would not be the same as a suzuki as far as specs but I could be wrong. kills switch should take out all spark not just some there should be stuff to charge up things and others to tell it when to fire the plugs

    how did you check spark? Are you not getting spart to any of the plugs or just some of the plugs? you need to monitor the inputs to the CDI and the out puts to find out what is going on. I do not have a manual for your motor, do you so you can look at the specs

    the 4D on the end should be the paint code I would think the 8D is for newer motors, but that is just my thoughts. Bosco99 might drop in and verify that
