    Very short dock lines

looks like that rear hard plastic bumper top can contact the boat if it's rocked enough. I'd try to use my round air filled bumpers between the dock and boat, like in that gap. I've also moved toward using bungee lines as tiedowns.

    Replacement bimini top fabric fit

I can't answer that question, but my '06 Lowe pontoon's bimini tops were made by Dowco. They are an OEM supplier for many manufacturers. My tops still had the part # tag on them and Dowco still makes them. If yours are a Dowco product, you can still get them most likely.

Replacing water pump impeller for first time

It's the weight of the heavier gear case coupled with doing this by myself knowing that if I mishandle/slip/drop the gearcase with the prop on it that prop could injure me somehow. It was easier using the prop shaft as a hold point for the 115hp.....the 60 hp was easier to manhandle. yep...

Replacing water pump impeller for first time

I've done 2 merc. impellers in the last 5 years. One on a 2005 60 hp Big Foot . The other on a 2021 115hp CT, month ago. I did the 60hp with leaving the shift in forward, as that's what I had read/heard (not mercury). I had to move the prop a little to get the alignment. Not hard, and the 60 hp...

    early spring maintenance

well... 2 weeks ago took it out for a short run and it ran fine. Standing start idle to full throttle, no issue. Then a few days later went out across and north up the chesapeake bay, about an hour+ trip one way, then back , no issue. Then, last tuesday, ran down to see the blue angels at...

    Mercury 150hp high speed misfire

I'd start with filters first as stated. Mercs have the in-line main filter. There is a fuel rail filter also on some/ most bigger Mercs. , like my 2021 115 CT. But it is cumbersome to get to and not prone to clogging. Do you have a fuel/water separator? That in-line filter doesn't hurt to be...

    Mercruiser 888 Unexpected Prop behavior?

the 19 might put you over wot rpms when by yourself but as you load the boat down then your rpms will be in the specified range. Depends on what you want.

    Mercruiser 888 Unexpected Prop behavior?

"any thoughts?" if jimmbo is right, you were only 400 rpm below the max. Increasing the diameter, # of blades, and pitch, decreases rpm's. The same diameter, blade count, and pitch can still give different results with different manufacturers.

    Mercruiser 888 Unexpected Prop behavior?

The only #'s that matter are what's current. If your concentration is on 60 mph, then the motor isn't making it for whatever reason. It's not the prop. Props are for fine tuning. You want 4200-4500 @WOT....speed is irrelevant.....

    Mercruiser 888 Unexpected Prop behavior?

"(which reportedly could hit 60MPH)." and can't rely on "reportedly".
