I've got a Kohler 5e I took the cylinder heads off and filled the crankcase with diesel. There was clear water intrusion into the cylinder heads/crankcase. The cylinder heads and intake of the gen has clear water intrusion through it. Does anyone know how it could have gotten in there...
I see, the original engine was fresh water cooling that's why I was asking. It was just connected to the block drain ports. VP doesn't have the same ports as merc for the coolant lines to connect to the heater.

Even the eBay ones that are remanufactered with 2 year warranty are trash? I have some local guys who can clean and flow test my injectors. Their price was about $25 per injector with new seals.
