    Water does not get near the piston from this leak!----Replace this gasket and test run.---Simple job.

    Why do you doubt this?-----There is no cylinder head that you can remove !!-----Pistons go into a blind hole from the other end.-----The block and the dome with the plugs are ALUMINUM.----Cast iron sleeves are inserted in the cylinders.

    It is only a water jacket cover.---=-It is NOT a typical cylinder head.----The plugs are NOT threaded into the water jacket cover !

    Measure the bores or consult a machine shop.-----Or use a ring from a good piston and check end gap in 3 and 6.

    Forward gear releases the reverse lock , so motor can be tilted up.

    These newer inlines use " cracked rods " and no need for fancy ring compressors.---Remove and install pistons one at a time.-----Flywheel and hub are easy to remove.----Careful / take time to get rod caps installed correctly.----They only go one way.

    And extra smoke on start-up is also normal and a good sign on a 2 stroke !------Lubrication on 2 strokes is not well understood.

    ^--Nonsense----You can not damage a 2 stroke by running fuel out of the carburetors.
