I recently purchased a 1955 Arkansas Traveler Sport, aluminum hull, fiberglass cap with 57 Chevy style fins. The sand cast aluminum endcap on one fin has been replaced (right side). They are not interchangeable from left to right or I would use that one for a mold. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one? From what I've seen the 1955's endcaps are different than 57's or 58's, but I think they would fit on the fin. I've haven't seen pictures of a 56. If anyone would have a set of endcaps I would also be interested in those. Also looking for a steering wheel or steering wheel center cap and a windshield and all related pieces to get it installed. Any advice or information is appreciated. Thanks.

Hard To Find Traveler Parts . from the fin era . I have searched for anyone that owns a boat like mine , yet have found none in existance . The traveler boat company made an estamated 12000 boats in 1957 , fewer in " 55 , of the boats produced in these years , very few are still near original condition , and the majority have vanished , like tears in the rain .

Welcome aboard DLB68 - it's against the rules (and best not to anyway) to reply to old threads. You're other thread has and will get more attention.

Your is a nice looking boat too - can't wait to see it all cleaned up and painted!
