This is a 95 J10RELEOE remote electric start. The wire harness from under the flywheel pushs back against the timer base and causes idle to increase. I replaced the control cables thinking it was stretch that was the problem. They were set by following the instructions in my OMC service manual. I'm about ready to find a small spring to put tension on it so it will pull it back. Any ideas as to what I can do? I did verify that the wires are running in the correct place.
