The local newspaper I subscribe to is the Lock Haven Express known just as "THE EXPRESS." Drove down the lane this afternoon to the mail box and got my mail. Gave my wife the first section and took the back section to do the crossword puzzles. We switched sections and I scanned the first section's articles first and then went back to read it all the way through. Something didn't look right and I had to look at the masthead twice before I noticed it was no longer THE EXPRESS but now read THE DISTRESS. It must have taken me a half a minute until I remembered it is April 1st.the distriss.jpg

As the news came over the radio about the lunar landing (whole class full of kids sitting listening quietly on the mat ,'cept me....."great step for mankind".......bla bla bla , I was incarcerated under the teachers desk at the front of the class .....cant remember what I did to deserve that (probly not sitting quietly on the mat ) ,she had string wrapped around the 4 desk legs to make a small jail.........fat b!tch .....never forgot that ......obviously šŸ˜
