Hi all, now that my floor , stringers, and transom are gone Im thinking that a better rear sport fishing designed boat is what i want ie; What I want is a liner style with scuppers no more water running under the side walls and in the corners. if not a full liner then a way to keep the washdown water from running towards front of boat into the cuddy. any ideas ? thks Leo

Still pondering. Are you trying to have a self-bailing deck with no water running into the cabin or engine compartment bilge? Is the cabin sole lower than the main deck height? Some pics looking forward from the transom will help.

restoration boat pics march 2013 099.jpgthks for ur response kjdunne, yes im thinking self bailing deck, but there is no way to keep water from running into bilge acc floor does not have flanges or lips to keep it out , yes there is a step down just about where the hardtop starts maybe a little forward of the rear edge if i fill in the step down i wouldnt be able to stand under hard top so dont like that idea basically what the ultimate is to put a liner in like so many boats have now ie trophy etc etc guess ill just have to live with it , or the alternative is to glass in all walls then put a edge around inside of engine "dog house cover" and then put a lip where step down is to prevent water running forward , how bout just get rid of washdown!!!! sorry no pics boat is now a complete shell getting redone thks Leo
