Hi All,<br /><br />I've got a few JohnnyRude outboards (1980's & 90's) that need a complete repaint on outside. They were already painted once before, but I don't know with what and I'm not digging the colors...<br /><br />So what is best way to prepare the surface and what is good paint to use? I don't want to prep too crazy and take off original finish; there's no rust or anything, I just want a decent, protective finish.<br /><br />I remember Mercury had some decent spray paint.
